Mounted Antique / Vintage Wayan Golek Puppet Head from West Java (Indonesia)

Description

This is an original mounted Antique Wayan Golek Puppet Head from the Indonesian island of Java.  My father purchased this piece in the mid 1960's when he was a Foreign Service Officer with the U.S Embassy in Jakarta.  This original head mostly likely dates fro the turn of the century.
Head Dimensions: 4 3/4 inches high, 2 1/2 inches wide by 4 1/4 inches in depth.  With Base: 6 3/4 inches High. Weight: 7.1 ounces
